Two ways Verd earns its keep

Picking the optimal plan is worth real money

The single biggest number in your healthcare year is which plan you choose. Two plans that look similar on a comparison page can differ by thousands of dollars once premiums, deductibles, and your actual care are counted.

Illustrative example — your numbers depend on your profile

For a 58-year-old in Ohio earning $52,000 with two common chronic conditions and moderate care needs, our engine projects about $7,700 in total annual cost — premiums plus out-of-pocket — on the best-fit plan, versus about $10,700 on the middle-ranked plan for the same profile.

About $3,000/year

Verd watches your money all year — so you don't have to

Insurers count on you paying attention for two weeks a year. Pro pays attention for the other fifty: it reads your plan documents, checks your bills for errors, watches your prescriptions for cheaper routes, tracks the appeal and enrollment deadlines that cost real money to miss, and answers any insurance question in plain English — with your actual numbers, not generalities.

The Savings Ledger keeps an itemized record of every dollar Verd finds you, right next to what Pro costs — so you can see for yourself whether it is earning its keep.

The Verd promise

Your Savings Ledger keeps score against Pro's own price, in plain view, all year. If Verd isn't beating what you pay for it, you'll see that on your own dashboard — and you should cancel. We would rather earn the renewal than obscure the math.

The honest answers

Is the recommendation really free?

Yes. The full analysis — eligibility across all 12 program types, projected costs, and your ranked plans — is free, and no credit card is required to see it.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel yourself from the Billing button in your dashboard — no phone call, no retention flow. Your subscription stays active through the end of the billing period you already paid for.

Is Verd an insurance broker?

No. We sell software and education, not insurance. We take zero commissions from insurers, we have no carrier partnerships, and we never sell your data — so nothing about our recommendation is influenced by who pays us. Only you pay us.

What happens to my data?

Your data is used to run your analysis and power your dashboard — never sold, ever. The details are in our privacy policy.

Do you offer refunds?

If something went wrong with your subscription, contact us and a human will sort it out.

Verd provides educational guidance and software tools to help you understand and manage your health coverage. Verd is not a licensed insurance broker or agent, does not sell insurance, and does not receive commissions from insurers. Projections are estimates based on federal data and the information you provide — verify plan details with the insurer before enrolling.
